  • Yes! We are currently accepting new clients for both in person and virtual appointments.

  • Individual therapy sessions are typically 45 minutes in duration. Occasionally, an extended 60 minute session may be recommended (e.g., PCIT, Exposure and Response Prevention) and for family therapy.

Sessions are typically weekly but based on individual needs and circumstances we are available for twice weekly sessions or sessions every other week and/or monthly consultation.

Your treatment and session duration and frequency is highly individualized based on your needs and availability.

  • We offer both!

Currently we are available to see clients in person in our Manhattan and Westchester office. Virtual sessions are offered via secure video conference platform, ensuring your privacy and convenience. You will be sent a secure link at the time of your appointment.

  • Phone consultation: After you contact us we will return your call/email as soon as possible. We will then schedule a brief free consultation to discuss our services, policies and ensure that we are a good fit to provide you with your needed services.

Therapist Match: Based on the above, we will match you with a therapist who can meet your needs and begin treatment. Please also check out our clinicians and let us know if you have a preference. You will then be sent a link to our client portal and can complete the consent forms.

Initial Evaluation & Feedback: Finally, your therapist will schedule a comprehensive initial evaluation as your first session. This evaluation can include an in depth interview, standardized measures, review of records and/or consultation with other providers/school (as needed and only if requested and with consent).

When working with children/adolescents, parent and child interviews may be scheduled separately. Following the assessment, your provider will discuss recommendations for treatment and expected outcomes.

  • We do not participate with any insurance plans and are therefore considered “out-of-network” providers. All session fees must be paid in full at the time of service.

Depending on your specific insurance plan, you may be eligible for full or partial reimbursement as part of your “out of network” benefits. To help facilitate out-of-network claims, we can either submit claims for reimbursement on your behalf, or provide you with a monthly “Superbill” which includes all of the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company.

To find out more about your “out of network” coverage, contact your insurance company to obtain information about your level of reimbursement (e.g., if you have a deductible; what percentage of fees are covered; and, what is “reasonable and customary” in terms of reimbursement rate).

  • Our fees are offered on a sliding scale based on clinician experience and type of service. Please contact our office directly to discuss fee schedule for therapy, consultation and trainings.

A typical fee for a 45 minute individual psychotherapy session is $400.
