Kimberly Kleinman, PsyD

Kimberly E. Kleinman, PsyD (She/Her) is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety, and behavioral disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. She has particular expertise in treating depression, specific phobias, school refusal, OCD, trichotillomania, and oppositional or noncompliant behavior.

Dr. Kleinman takes a warm, collaborative approach that combines evidence-based strategies with practical skill-building to help families thrive. She works closely with parents, schools, and community providers, offering in-home treatment and school consultations as needed.

She holds certifications in hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and is a PCIT International Within Agency Trainer. For over a decade, she was a senior psychologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and an assistant professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she led the CAM SEL Program, bringing tiered mental health prevention and intervention services to schools throughout New York City.

Dr. Kleinman provides clinical supervision to early-career psychologists and remains committed to expanding access to high-quality care through training and community partnerships.
