Liora Hoffman, PhD

Liora Hoffman (She/Her), PhD, is a clinical psychologist who takes an integrative and compassionate approach in her work with children, teens, and families. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety and behavioral disorders in children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Hoffman has particular interest and expertise in providing attachment-based interventions during early childhood and providing support for young children and caregivers with parenting difficulties or those managing life stressors. Dr. Hoffman’s approach to treatment combines evidence based interventions, such as CBT and PMT, with a family centered attachment lens that allows for a holistic and integrated experience for families to feel support and healing.
In addition to seeing clients virtually and in her Manhattan office, Dr. Hoffman serves as the Manager of Psychology Systems in Community and Population Health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. In this role Dr. Hoffman oversees over multiple clinical services in her leadership role. She is an associate professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Department of Psychiatry and has a central role in training clinicians and managing community-based services.
