Craig Asselin, PsyD

Senior Clinical Psychologist

Craig A. Asselin (He/Him), Psy.D., CGP is a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Group Psychotherapist with over 16 years of experience providing mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. In his practice, he has worked primarily with adults and specializes in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, perfectionism, men’s issues, family issues, parenting support, identity issues, self-esteem, stress management, and life transitions. Additionally, Dr. Asselin is passionate about working with college-aged individuals and has extensive experience with the unique challenges that students face after spending six years as a staff psychologist and assessment coordinator at the Florida State University Counseling Center. 

Dr. Asselin is an integrative psychotherapist, utilizing aspects of family systems and psychodynamic theory. His approach in therapy is anchored in positive psychology (well-being) which views individual strengths and resilience as fundamental causes of change. In addition to working with individuals and conducting ADHD evaluations through Capital City Psychiatry in Tallahassee, Florida; he also serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Psychological Association.

Dr. Asselin is a PSYPACT provider and authorized to provide virtual sessions in additional states (click here for a list of states).
